My new rock pool inspired "Sea Cauldrons "are hand built using a fine grain stoneware clay. I have added oxides and copper carbonate into the clay body, adding a bluish bubble underglaze before the bisque firing. I've then added a transparent glaze and fired to a high temperature. After the I've gilded with gold leaf on the rim and to highlight the little barnacles, and shells on the sides, to add a touch of preciousness
